WHS Sterilization Service Sdn Bhd (WSSSB) was incorporated in Malaysia as a Private Limited Company. WSSSB is a Subsidiary of Warisan Harta Sabah Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned Investment Arm of the Sabah State Government, and established as a joint venture company between Warisan Harta Sabah Sdn Bhd and Sina Sterilgamma Sdn Bhd with the purpose of providing services to both Government and Private Hospitals in Sabah by setting up and operating a Certified Sterilization Service Center (CSSC) in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
CSSC is a kind of services facility with a complete supply network comprising of, inter alia, a sterile goods processing facility, the provision of sterile goods, full logistics services to manage supply, collection and delivery of sterile goods and proper documented operations.

Development of First Certified Sterilization Service Centre (CSSC) In Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia
Purpose
The purpose of establishing this CSSC in Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP) is to make reliable sterilized articles available at the required time and places for any agreed purpose to be offered to the government or private hospitals and clinics in Sabah as economically as possible, having regard to the need to conserve the time of users, especially doctors and nurses.
Function
The CSSC receives, stores, sterilizes and distributes to all hospitals including the wards, outpatient department (OPD) and other special units such as operating theatre (OT). Major responsibilities of CSSC include processing and sterilization of syringes, surgical instruments, treatment trays and sets, dressings etc, that meets international accreditation body and Malaysian Device Act 737 (2012).
Objectives
To provide sterilized material from a central department where sterilizing practice is conducted under controlled conditions, thereby contributing to a reduction in the incidence of hospital infection.
